Description: Between 2 and 3, you can think of all kinds of numbers: 2.1, 2.01, 2.001, 2.0001, and so on. No matter how small the gap between two numbers, you can always find another number in between. You can keep adding more digits and get as close as you want to either end — but you’ll never run out of numbers to put between them. It’s not just about fractions either. There are also strange numbers like square roots or pi (like 2.718…) that fit between 2 and 3 too. All of these are called real numbers, and they fill up the number line completely. The reason we say there are "infinite" numbers is because you can never count them all — they go on forever. Even if you zoomed in with a super microscope on the space between two very close numbers, you’d still see endless others hiding between them. So, between 2 and 3, or between any two numbers, there are always endless numbers in between — no matter how small the gap.
