Episode Title: GOD!! Theif Openly Rides My 'STOLEN BIKE' #shorts
Produced by: FactTechz
Description: A recent incident in Hyderabad showed how someone received a traffic challan for a vehicle that had already been stolen. The owner had reported the theft to the police months earlier and had even filed an FIR. Despite this, he suddenly got a fine notice for a traffic violation involving the same vehicle. The challan included a photo taken by a traffic camera. In that image, a different person was clearly seen riding the stolen vehicle without wearing a helmet. This made it obvious that the actual owner was not responsible for the violation. After the owner shared the issue on social media and informed the police, authorities used the image from the challan and nearby CCTV footage to track down the person riding the vehicle. Eventually, they were able to recover the stolen vehicle and identify the suspect. This case highlighted a gap in the system, where traffic databases are not always updated with theft reports. As a result, fines can still be issued to the original owner. At the same time, it also showed how surveillance systems like e-challan cameras can help solve crimes by capturing useful evidence.
